RN – Mental Health – Gwinnett

Seeking Registered Nurse to provide nursing care for patients admitted for stabilization of severe mental health or addictive disease crises for intensive residential treatment of addictive diseases.

 

Duties:

  • Perform initial evaluations of patient
  • Assess the patients’ needs and assist with development of an initial nursing care plan
  • Implement the nursing care plan and doctors’ treatment orders
  • Coordination of proper administration of medications
  • Observe and record responses to treatment and any new symptoms or other changes to the patient treatment plan
  • Work with staff in discharge planning and complete discharge summaries when needed

 

Must have current GA license to practice as a Registered Nurse

Drug Screen and Background Check required

Must provide proof of education (high school or GED)
