As a Correctional Nurse, you’ll be responsible for implementing individualized treatment plans and communicating information to nursing staff and various medical personnel. In this role, you must attend mandatory staff meetings and trainings and exhibit critical thinking skills in various situations. Requirements of the job include a nursing license and at least one year of correctional experience. To qualify, you must hold a current nursing license and have at least one year of experience.
Long-term Care Nurse

LTC nursing (long-term care nursing) positions require assessing, planning, and implementing patient care; assessing patients’ conditions; and collecting and analyzing data and information from healthcare members. To qualify as an LTC nurse, you must be a Georgia licensed practical nurse (LPN) and have it least one year of work experience in the field.
