Correctional Nurse (LPN)
If you are interested in working at a correctional facility, a position as a correctional nurse may be a great fit. As a correctional nurse, you’ll implement individualized treatment programs, communicate information and updates among nursing staff and physicians; and apply critical thinking to various patient situations and procedures. You will need at least one year of correctional experience and a current nursing license to qualify as a correctional nurse.

LTC Nurse (LPN)
BOS currently has a high demand for LPNs to work in part-time or full-time roles at a long-term care facility. As an LTC nurse, you’ll be responsible for utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care and the signs and symptoms of the patient’s physiological and psychosocial conditions. In this role, you’ll also be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data from healthcare providers and documenting diagnoses. In terms of credentials for this role, you’ll need to be a Georgia Licensed Practical Nurse and have at least one year of LNP experience.

LTC Skilled Nurse (LPN)
Similar to the role of an LTC nurse, an LTC skilled nurse performs a variety of tasks at long-term care facilities, including planning and evaluating patient care programs, conducting focused interviews to assess patients’ needs; and collecting and analyzing data and information from patients’ healthcare providers. LTC skilled nurses must be Georgia Licensed Practical Nurses and have at least one year of LPN experience.
